Revival doesn't come unless there is repentance.
We want true revival in the body of Christ.
When Jesus launched His ministry after coming from the wilderness... He preached repentance.
14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:14-15)
Jesus preached repentance.
As you're growing in your walk with Christ.
Just like seeds need to break in order to grow roots.
We must also prune branches so we can continue to grow fruit.
Here's the process when God is promoting you in the kingdom.
#1 Pruning
#2 Preparation
#3 Positioning
It's one to receive Jesus... but it's another to remain.
6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. (John 15:6)
When Jesus emphasizes 'anyone', He means anyone.
Whether you're a believer or NOT... anyone can be cast out as a branch.
Abide in Him daily!
11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. (John 15:11)
16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. (John 15:16)
How to continue to obey God?
#1 Seek Him daily.
#2 Be still & listen.
#3 Obey His ways.
Obedience is greater than sacrifice. (1 Samuel 15:22)
I pray that you REMAIN in Jesus so that you may bear MUCH fruit!
