Life is a process.

Ministry is a process.

To cook food is a process.

There are several benefits to why God allows us to go through a process.

#1 Humble Us
#2 Test Us
#3 Builds Character
#4 Builds Patience
#5 Gains knowledge & wisdom

1 “Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers. 2 And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. 3 So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. 4 Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. 5 You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you. (Deuteronomy 8:1-5)

As believers, we go through wilderness seasons and moments.

And just because you may feel uncomfortable in your journey, doesn't mean God won't allow it.

If we didn't get uncomfortable, we wouldn't need our Comforter which is the Holy Spirit.

A great verse to meditate on when you're going through trials is in Romans.

5 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; (Romans 5:1-3)

Let's highlight 'glory in tribulations'

The ability to glory in tribulation is not always easy.

And in fact, it's hard to rejoice or boast in the Lord when we go through trials.

But we MUST glory through the trials because tribulation produces perserverance.

4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:4-5)

Now building patience... comes from waiting on the Lord.

Knowing that His ways are perfect.

26 And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, 27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. 28 For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. 29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.” (Mark 4:26-29)

There is a PROCESS to when its time to harvest.

13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. 14 Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! (Psalm 27:13-14)

God bless you!
