In 2016, Kitty Norton left her job as an NBC assistant editor in Los Angeles to care for her mother with dementia in Portland. She started Stumped Town Dementia, a blog that resonated with readers worldwide, sharing tales of dementia life. Kitty documented her journey with her mother in videos and, after her passing in 2021, created her first documentary feature film, Wine, Women, and Dementia. The film honors their journey and raises awareness of dementia caregiving, letting others in similar situations know they are not alone.
