In this section of Ezekiel, we are told three allegories of Judah/Israel and her unfaithfulness and the results of her sin, God's judgment. There is an allegory of the vine, the unfaithful wife, and the two eagles. We then learn that each person is responsible for his own sins and not the sins of their father's or their son's. Chapter 18 verse 32 says, "For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,' declares the Lord God,' Therefore, repent and live!" We also see that if we do turn to the Lord and repent, we can find forgiveness. This part of Ezekiel ends with a Lament, a song of sorrow, for the kings of Judah/Israel which are no more.
