This passage covers King Hezekiah's reign which can also be found in 2 Kings chapters 18-20 & 2 Chronicles 29-32. This is when the Lord protects Jerusalem from the King of Assyria because Hezekiah prays, when the Lord heals Hezekiah because he prays, and when the Lord tells Hezekiah that Jerusalem will be take over by the Babylonians because he showed the Babylonian messengers all the treasures of Jerusalem. We also take a look at this first half of Isaiah (39 chapters) as a message of judgement, and the second half (27 chapters) as a message of comfort, which is similar to the Old Testament (39 books) and the New Testament (27 books).
