In chapter one of Jeremiah, we learn of Jeremiah's call from the Lord to be a Prophet to the Nations. He is leading during a very difficult time, and Babylon will be coming to destroy Jerusalem. The Lord promises to be with Jeremiah as he faithfully proclaims what God tells him. He tried to use the excuse that he was too young to be the Lord's prophet, but the Lord said stop making excuses! He says that to us as well.
