In these chapters of Jeremiah we find hope that restoration is coming. We are reminded that Jerusalem and Judah have sinned and they are being disciplined, but it is for a limited time, and even in the midst of it, the Lord loves them with an everlasting love. Jeremiah describes the Lord as creator of the heavens and the earth, all powerful, great, mighty, nothing is too difficult for Him. He's the Lord of Hosts, a great counselor, and ever watching. The Lord encourages us to call out to Him, and He has provided a way for us. No matter what we are going through, the Lord is there for us, so let's obey like Jeremiah.
