Johnny Hicks is the current chairman of the board for the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America (TLBAA). I would also consider him my "Longhorn mentor". Johnny, with his wife Missy and their five children, have been raising Texas Longhorns in Michigan for over 15 years. In this first episode of our four part special interview, Johnny and I talk over a basic introduction to raising Longhorns, as well as their personal introduction into the breed. There are a lot of unique benefits and experiences in raising these magnificent cattle. Lets get into it!!
