In Chapter 1, Paul expresses gratitude and offers prayers for the Colossian believers, emphasizing the supremacy of Christ, who is the image of the invisible God and the head of the church. 

In Chapter 2, Paul warns against deceptive philosophies and traditions that could lead the Colossians astray from the truth in Christ. He emphasizes their unity in Christ, the completeness found in Him, and the freedom from human regulations.

Chapter 3 focuses on living as new creations in Christ, urging believers to set their minds on heavenly things and to put to death earthly desires such as sexual immorality, impurity, evil desires, greed, anger, and slander.
