Mike is a Gay Christian, a content creator, an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, and a queer theology enthusiast. He was formerly a minister at Bethel Church in Redding, California. He now runs an organisation called NUMA which helps people in redemptive deconstruction and equips people in theology, spirituality and faith.
In this episode, we talk about what it was like for Mike growing up as gay in an evangelical Christian environment, how he reconciled his faith to his sexuality, we deconstruct some of the bible verses that people use against gay people, we talk about what the bible even is and how we should use it and Mike's perspective on who Jesus is.
