Margaret Vandergriff founded Your Place Finder in 2017 following a series of disastrous empty nest moves to help women in midlife and beyond successfully navigate the search and move to their dream location. Margaret created her signature Spark System to identify and match like-minded places and people by drawing on prospect research and strategic planning expertise she honed over 30 years as a consultant helping nonprofit organizations find and access $25 million in grants. Margaret currently lives with her husband and four cats in rural Iowa and is eagerly planning the move to their dream location – Eugene, Oregon – in spring 2022.
