Take a deep breath and close your eyes. Ask God if there is something he is inviting you to let go of today. Maybe he’s inviting you to let go of fear. Maybe he’s inviting you to let go of shame. Maybe he’s inviting you to let go of your past. Picture that thing in your hands and give it to Jesus. Then, wait. He will give you something in its place. He is always doing something new in you. There is always more in store for you. Ask him to show you what that new thing is.
Y – Yield
Visualize the new thing Jesus gave you and pray this prayer with me: Jesus, thank you for helping me let go. I trust you. Will you fill any empty space with your presence? Thank you for the new thing you’re doing in my life. I receive it with joy and cannot wait to see what you will do. Amen.
