Join Adrienne as she guides you through a meditation on Ahimsa. Ahimsa means non-harming to others as well as yourself. In the Yoga Sutra, 2.35, "In the presence of one firmly established in non-violence, all hostilities cease."
Words and thoughts shape our perspectives and our actions. Our internal dialogue has a major impact on how you feel about yourself and others.
A key practice of Ahimsa is simply becoming aware of your negative thoughts and then replacing those thoughts by embracing compassion, reverence and love for yourself and other.
When we rewire our negative thought patterns, we can increase our lifespan, lower our risk of depression, improve our cardiovascular health, and provide ourselves with coping skills during stressful times.
