The shit we not fuxing with today is settling. We use the framework of a recent Sister Girl(s) interaction between Eboni K. Williams of Real Housewives of New York fame (don't let the Housewives moniker fool you - Ms. Williams is all about Black Peoples Liberation and will deftly tell you with her perfectly positioned eyebrow, the shit we not about to do) and Inyanla Vanzant. We break apart what it means when a Sister is challenged when she says unequivocally she would not be romantically involved with a bus driver. Sis sees bigger things in and for her life. If the Uppity Black Woman truly wants to experience liberation, she must always position herself with people, places, and things that are in alignment with the highest vision she has for herself...and I hate to break it to you Sis, the dude driving the bus ain't it.
