Description

The shit we not fuxing with today is ignoring the Mainframe -  the source, the root of why we do the things that we do. As I re-adjust to being Black in a very White world, some old patterns of behavior have begun to show up (again!) as a means of coping with anxiety. Many of these behaviors slide into addictive patterns that are easy to hide, particularly for the Uppity Black Woman who looks like she has it all together. These addictive patterns expand beyond what we usually think of as "addiction" such as addiction to drugs and alcohol. These can also be addictions to being perfect, to being "right,"  to food, to procrastination - all compulsive behaviors that prevent receipt of the abundance that is due to you. It is critical that the Uppity Black Woman pushes past these addictions. In order to do so, she must fix the Mainframe. You cannot do new without getting rid of the old. But first, you must understand how the old got there in the first place.
