In this episode, Robin interviews Dr. Cecily D. Havert, M.D., who is a big LGBTQ+ ally and physician at Northern Virginia Family Practice Associates (NVFP), a family medicine practice that offers full-service concierge health care in the Northern Virginia area. Dr. Havert specializes in women’s health with an emphasis on the LGBTQ+ community. Robin and Dr. Havert discuss the reasons why you should ‘come out’ to your healthcare provider and what the benefits of doing-so are.
