In this Part 2 episode, Robin continues the conversation with the people in her weekly Bisexually Speaking support group continuing to discuss what it’s like to not only come out late, but come out late AND bisexual - it’s a complex journey. Robin’s weekly support group, Bisexually, is not always recorded, but we collectively agreed that it was time to record this conversation in an effort to begin dispelling the many myths surrounding being a bisexual, and coming out late today. The Bisexually Speaking support group gives participants the chance to talk-out and tell their stories regarding all of the different ways that coming out as bisexual can look in ‘today’s’ gay world - all in a virtual, private, safe, and supportive environment. This pre-recroded, casual, roundtable discussion covers a whole range of topics, things to consider, lots to reflect on, and reveals just some of the many challenges a woman might face if coming out late, AND coming out as bisexual.

In this episode, you will learn to question and explore . . .

• What DOES “being bisexual” mean?.
• Why are ‘veteran’ lesbians so judgmental and opinionated toward late blooming bisexuals?
• To ‘label’, or not to ‘label’? Who’s decision is it anyway?
• Can I give myself permission to fall in love with whomever I want to fall in love with?
• Are there different “attraction” categories too?
• Should we react-to and stop “outside forces/strangers” from labeling and boxing-in our young children with hetero-norms?
• The multitude of myths about bisexuality.
• Was there any gay sexuality representation when you were growing up? If not, would it have made a difference in your coming out journey?
• Is “representing” your gay sexuality important to you?
• In what ways do YOU “represent”, or show-up-for your sexuality?
• What is the “default” and do we need to get away from it?
• Ask ourselves: how do I want to GIVE myself to another person?
