In this episode, we’re joined by Rich Ryerson, a former professional soccer player, long-time collegiate coach, and passionate advocate for youth development through sport. Rich reflects on his journey from a standout player at UNLV, where he started all 84 games of his collegiate career, to playing professionally both in the U.S. and abroad.
As the former head coach of UNLV men’s soccer, Rich led the program for over a decade, guiding them to their first NCAA Tournament win in nearly three decades. His leadership extended beyond the field, securing critical funding and shaping a culture of growth and resilience.
Rich is now dedicated to creating global soccer experiences through Ryerson Soccer Tours, helping teams travel internationally for tournaments and cultural immersion. This conversation dives into mental toughness, building lasting impact through leadership, and the transformational power of sport—on and off the field.
