Carob Marcelle  is a mother and local advocate representing multiple parent groups. She is a former foster child who repudiates the victim narrative and promotes values for flourishing communities and individuals. These values include meritocracy and resilience. She is the host of the podcast, Be Not Afraid (  @CarobMarcelle ),  where she explores social issues with both reason and compassion.

In this episode we explore the ideological seduction fostering entitlement, victimhood, fragility and narcissism within the State of Utah. We discuss the disempowering effects of SEL (Social-emotional learning), how parents are organising networks to challenge this ideological seduction of children and the path toward building more resilient children.
