"Drive or get out of the car." Lukewarm defined in the Oxford dictionary means 1) (of liquid or food that should be hot) only moderately warm; tepid and 2) showing little enthusiasm. As followers of Christ, we may find ourselves to be lukewarm when in seasons of transition. Everything is up in the air - some of it because of circumstances that are in our control, and some that are not. Regardless, there are sometimes parts of our previous season, or parts of our previous selves that we are not necessarily ready to let go of as we move into a new chapter in this life. In doing this, we can find ourselves living one way during part of the week, and another way in another part of the week - or we'll behave one way toward one group of community we have, and then act another way with another group of community or friends we have. This can be a dangerous space in which to operate, and we'll talk about why.
