Description

In this week's episode I am joined by Rachel Hubbard discussing all things perimenopause. Rachel shares with us her journey of being inspired by Jane Fonda to do aerobics which led her training to teach aerobics herself. She has a particular interest in perimenopause and provides us with some incredibly helpful ideas for how we can support ourselves during perimenopause.

We discuss:

About Rachel:
Rachel Hubbard brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to deliver engaging fitness sessions.

A graduate of Sports Science, Rachel’s background lies in delivering consistently high standard sessions for both the class member and interested professionals.  With a background in coaching, and experience as a Course Director delivering health and fitness education, alongside practical classes at local and national level, Rachel has ingrained good fitness coaching techniques and protocols that will support you in your own learning of how to get fitter.

Alongside a career in fitness, Rachel has raised four children and understands the joy and stress of being a parent and wanting to retain your health and wellbeing.  As Pilates Back Care and Pelvic floor coach, Rachel can advise you on how to exercise safely and effectively.

In recent years, Rachel has explored how women can use exercise to improve the symptoms of menopause – there is balance between the research done for her degree dissertation in 2009, and personal experience to bring knowledge and understanding to this challenging time of life.
