In this week's episode I talk to Heather Gwyneth Bird all about the power of nature. We discuss:
After this conversation with Heather I am looking forward to trying some of the experiences she describes and I hope that it has inspired you to get out into nature and soak up everything it has to offer.
About Heather:
Heather began her career with a first-class honours degree from the University of Edinburgh in Physiology (the systems of the body) and spent 17 years working within the clinical research world including as Director of Global Clinical Operations, helping to bring novel treatments in neurology, oncology, cardiology, rare genetic indications amongst others to market and mentoring busy teams. Personal experiences and further studies since 2015 in psychology, yoga, qi gong, reiki and nature based therapeutics reinforced the necessity for a holistic approach for full body, mind and spiritual health.
Heather offers a combination of somatic-based therapy, mindfulness, compassion-based and nature-based therapy for bespoke person-centred approaches as a holistic therapist. Heather is currently offering a nature-based personal development course as well as a train the trainer course for professionals to deliver during outdoor workshops.
