Mike Witt led in corporate America as a Director of Operations at Waste Management and Regional Vice President at United Site Services highlighting a 26-year career before courageously shifting to fulfill his entrepreneurial dreams. Today, Mike owns and successfully runs his own gym in Sausalito, California. And by the way, I’ve been able to witness Mike’s incredible journey because we grew up together. Mike is a natural born leader who spent his childhood looking up to his father, Colonel Everett Witt, who had a 29 year-long career in the military. Mike and I chat about the lessons he learned from the Colonel, his leadership style of observing and learning, and what it took for him to make the leap from VP to Anytime Fitness owner.
