Jesus said plainly in John 15:5, “...apart from Me you can do nothing.” At the same time, Jesus made clear to His followers that He wants them to live a life full of love, joy, and spiritual fruit. When Jesus left His disciples for heaven, He did not leave them alone to simply do the best they could in their own power. He sent a Helper to come and be with them…to be with us.
