Host Louise Lasser takes the show to a place rarely seen in an episode that is VERY meta. Fresh off the success of her own show, Mary Hartman Mary Hartman, Lasser brings her unique style of comedy and storytelling to Saturday Night. The lines between reality and fiction are blurred as not only Lasser's real-life drama is brought to the screen but also a recent Rolling Stone article that leads to some tension among the cast, especially Chevy Chase and John Belushi.
It's an interesting episode (to say the least) that also includes a number by New Orleans' own Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
