Her company was founded in 2017 after she graduated college and became a mother. Ponderosa Creative offers hand dye courses, PDF eBooks, quilt patterns, and a curated selection of supplies such as her bestselling Ponderosa Thread Gloss. She decided to pivot away from the environmental field that she was in, to a career that allowed her to have more flexibility with raising her child and she has found so much success using Etsy.
