As we study the Scriptures - almost all of the Bible characters endured hardship, suffering & pain at some point along the way. But, when we come to Job, we note that he was a Godly man, a family man & he was described as the greatest man in the east. When Satan was granted permission to come against him - everything dear to him was taken in the blink of an eye. Now, in come Job's friends.... (Job 3:1-16)
