Chris has a fascinating story to share about how he turned his pain into purpose after experiencing an unspeakable tragedy. In 2015, his mother, Sharonda Coleman-Singleton, was one of nine victims in the Charleston church shooting. Chris was devastated by the loss of his mother, but he refused to let the tragedy define him. Instead, he turned to his faith and started using his platform to spread messages of hope and unity.
Chris also talks about his love of baseball, which started when he was just a young boy. He was a standout player in high school, and he was eventually drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2017. He shares some of the challenges he faced during his time in professional baseball and how he was able to overcome them.
