Follow the example of Abraham in Genesis 22:1-18 when God is asking for your obedience, and understand that testing is necessary to deepen our capacity to obey God and to develop our character. When we are tested, we can complain, or we can try to see how God is stretching us to develop in us the character necessary to follow him. Lastly, have faith and trust God that he will do it again if he did it before.
