Confidence is a skill
- Confidence is a skill and not a god given gift. And as a skill, you sure as hell have it in you to freaking nail this
- Set the intention right here and now that you commit to showing up every day for yourself and listening to the podcast each day

The key to having rock-solid confidence
- I can’t give you a single “key” because confidence is (like self-love) made up of so many pieces.
- Like a mosaic. The tiles are pretty but you don’t really get the point. But then when you put the piece together and take a step back! Boom it’s a masterpiece
- Confidence is
- Picking yourself up after you failed
- Speaking up even though you’re afraid
- Wearing that dress
- Hearing criticism and not shutting down but using it together with brutal self-awareness to grow
- Doing the next level moves before you think you’re ready
- Putting yourself out there
Practice being confident
- Being confident is not binary
- You’re confident (1), not confident (0)
- Being confident is a scale. Every time single time you take one confident action, you’re practicing this skill
- Think of it like this
- You have a piggy bank (Sparschwein in German)
- And every time you show up for yourself, you’re adding 2€, 5€, 50€ to the pot
- Really make it a game over the next 5 days to notice the little moments in your everyday life where you react in a more confident & empowered way
- And get ready to collect some coins :D
Habits of a confident person to collect coins/practice being confident
- Leaving your comfort zone: Do one little scary thing
- Ditch perfectionism: Have the courage to hand something in that is not “perfect yet”.
- Notice negative comments about your body and shift your focus to one thing you like about yourself: When you’re in the bathroom and notice new cellulite, look yourself in the eyes and say “wow I love your smile, you’re gorgeous”
- Not giving a fuck what others think
- Listen to your ass-kicking cheerleader voice: You know that voice that says “I know this is scary, but we’re doing the thing now, you’ve got this”
- Hold eye contact when you’re talking to someone
- Watch your body language: Chest up, sitting tall, open body language, firm stance
- Smile more: When you’re alone, when you’re talking to someone, when you’re sitting on the toilet. Not joking: Just adding 10 more smiles a day will increase your mood and confidence tremendously
- Speak up and allow yourself to take up space: In a meeting, when you’re with your friends, you’re allowed to take up space and you’ve got so much valuable things to share
- Focus on your strengths: Instead of dwelling on your weaknesses, focus on your strengths and what you bring to the table.
