Today’s episode is about the seasons of our lives.

The phrase "seasons in life" is a metaphor that compares the different stages of a person's life to the changing seasons of the year. Each season has its own characteristics, and so do the different periods of life, which can include times of growth, change, and dormancy.

Here are some examples of the seasons of life and their characteristics:

Some say that the human life cycle has six main stages: fetus, baby, child, adolescent, adult, and elderly. However, people are continually changing throughout all of these stages.

Some say that it's important to know what season of life you're in, and that no season lasts forever.

I personally just put together that I'm in the Autumn of my life and I’m embracing this time by allowing myself to feel all of the feels around getting older, AND I am constantly inspired by the women I work with in my Sages Story Circles because most of them are a “season ahead of me” in the winter of their lives, and they constantly bring forward rich and heartwarming content that I feel so grateful to receive.

Today I’m sharing two stories or rather two pieces with you.  One is from a poetry group I’m currently workshopping with (Meredith Heller's Writing by Heart Poetry Workshops) and the other is from one of my Sages named Julie titled: Ode to an Aging Body.

These ladies get me and they're always providing just what I need when I need it—and the things they share are often so profound that I feel the need to share them widely—because as I say at the end of every Full Spirals Episode–we really are all in this together.

Please enjoy this episode honoring the seasons of our lives.
