"Looking for the good" is a wonderful spiritual practice!
Most of what is happening in the world is telling us how bad we are and how we "need" products to "make us better." In other words, we are taught to look for what is wrong - not what is good and working. Of course we don't want to be in denial, as we look for the good. But we are looking through the lens of positivity and belief that the universe really is working on our behalf. When we can live with this awareness and mindset, it becomes second nature to look for the spiritual lesson or opportunity for growth that is presenting for us.
Looking for the good is a practice for working with body image, work situations, and relationship. As you look for the good you will begin to realize that it brings hope, goodness and life energy into your life and world. Honoring people around you with positive words and affirmations will catapult you forward into loving life and success in your endeavors. And finally, looking for the good will give you strength in your emotional and spiritual life.
