Hello! And Welcome back to Raw Intentions Podcast. This week, we’ve got special guest and co-founder of the tequila brand @drinkvolley, Camila Soriano. Camila & her husband Chris were fed up with the seltzer industry. After creating an upscale alcohol mixer out of college, they knew that clean ingredients, free of natural flavors and artificial additives, were a MUST. So, they decided to make their own seltzer, Volley. As a consumer of the product myself, it was incredible to hear Camila’s story, and learn more about the brand as a whole. We chatted about the culmination of their business, the process of making a tequila seltzer, the competitive nature of the alcohol industry, biggest mistakes and what was learned, hypocrisy of “natural flavors,” being a mom, a business owner, and trying to balance it all with life, being a woman in a male dominated industry, and so much more.
