In this week's episode, we welcome Macey Boyd to the podcast. Macey Boyd is a health and fitness coach, CEO, content creator, and personal trainer. She was my personal trainer back in 2018, which is how we met! Although I’ve known her for years, these conversations took us both far deeper, and I so enjoyed getting to know Macey on a profound level. We discussed disordered eating behaviors, the negative mental health connotations with the fitness industry, and how it can improve your life. We’ve both struggled with body image, food, and binge drinking. Macey opened up about much of her personal life;  the highs and very low lows she experienced, in order to get to the balanced, healthy, happy life she leads today. She also shares fitness tips, myths, and things to focus on in your own health journey. We talk a lot about pregnancy too, as Macey is moving through her first pregnancy! We talked at great length about her experiences thus far, habits she’s instilled, body image woes, self-confidence shifts, and hormonal changes that people don’t talk about, and how she hopes to fill the gap she sees for pregnant women in the health and wellness space.
