Actually the act of being “Saved” or to receive Salvation is very easy but is something you should not take lightly.

One of the first steps is to get a Bible which you can use to help understand who Jesus was and what He did for the World. In a very short time, He taught us how to live by example, He taught us how to die by not losing faith in the Father, and then He showed us that it is possible to live again by rising from the dead.

Most Bibles are divided into two main sections. For example, the KJV (King James Version), the NKJV (New King James Version), and the NIV (New International Version) are divided into the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament is everything before Jesus and the New Testament is everything from the birth of Jesus.

The New Testament has the first 4 books which are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, which all tell mostly the same story about Jesus and His life, death, and resurrection.

Know this:

4 Steps To Salvation (Romans 10:9-10)

  1. Realize that you are a sinner. Romans 3:23.
  2. Realize that the payment for sin is death. Romans 6:23.
  3. Realize that Jesus died on the cross for your sins. Romans 5:8.
  4. Repent of your sins; accept Jesus as your Savior, and ask Him to come into your life. Romans 10:9.

It is very important to know that you have not sinned too much to be saved. It does not matter! Nothing you have done will prevent you from receiving the Gift that Jesus wants to provide you. If you truly believe that He is the Son of the living God, and ask Him for forgiveness of those sin, you will receive the gift. Pretty simple.

The Old Covenant from God to the people required each person to sacrifice an unblemished lamb at the temple to have their sins forgiven. God send Jesus to provide a New Covenant which provided Him, Jesus Christ, as the unblemished Lamb which only had to be sacrificed once for the worlds sins.

Are you ready to receive the Gift? It is very simple. Just say and believe the following:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and live. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.

If you just read the above statement with truth and feeling, welcome to day 1! You have just received the gift. You very well may remember that feeling for the remainder of your life. There is true rejoicing in Heaven. As soon as you can, go tell other Christians!

Here are some next steps. First, being saved is just the first step of becoming a follower of Christ. The biggest, step. The next step is to learn what that means. This can be a lifetime pursuit and also just as rewarding which will also include being Baptized where you will receive the Holy Spirit.

If you are still unsure, please don’t give up because God will not giv
