In today’s episode Megan & Shannon talk about judgments and assumptions that occur on the dating apps (and IRL too). We’d be kidding ourselves if we didn’t admit that most people do this. You’re assessing information based on what you see in a profile or what you learn about someone when you first meet them. Never married, no kids- does that mean there’s a permanent heavy bag tag attached to their (emotional) luggage? Or maybe they possibly just didn’t meet the person to have that with yet? Or neither?
We talk about pushing judgements or assumptions aside and being open to getting to know someone. There’s also the importance of self-assessment when it comes those judgements and also around what you want and what you put out there.
Also, everyone is busy so if you really want to date then you’ll make time for it. And be open to what’s out there!
