From the moment a man and woman are married, they are unified in a mysterious way unlike any other human relationship. The book of Genesis tells us that marriage is to be a permanent bond between a man and a woman that joins them into one new union. God says that He hate divorce. However, God does not say He hates divorced people. Divorce is a difficult process that nobody likes going through. Our marriages often struggle because we seek after compatibility, physical needs, or sexual needs. We look for a spouse that will fulfill OUR hopes and dreams instead of finding someone that will fulfill God’s purpose and further His Kingdom.
