Description

Michelle Kallmier describes herself as a person who has 'Lived a brave life without being a brave person'. She has been a missionary in Cambodia, a trainer of missionaries and a lecturer in Cross Cultural Communication. She is currently in Cambodia conducting research for  her PhD.

Today she courageously shares about Anxiety, Burnout and Thriving. Some valuable wisdom for anyone alive today. Encouraging us to 'Look up and step forward' and ask the question 'Who am I when I am not being responsible?'

If you would like more information on Burnout and Anxiety there are many resources. The book 'Zeal Without Burnout' by Christoper Ash is recommended. The article https://careynieuwhof.com/11-signs-youre-more-than-just-tired-youre-burning-out/ is useful.  It is important to seek help if you are struggling, reach out to those in your organisation or your family. Many countries have free telephone or internet chat counselling services, they are a great way to begin. In Australia you can call Lifeline on 131114.

Welcome to REACH, the WEC Australia Podcast. A podcast that invites people who are actively sharing their faith in Christ to share their own story. Some are living in other countries where they do this across the cultures. Some within their own culture in their own home country.
