In today's episode Joe talks to Amber Cantorna-Wylde. Amber is the author of Unashamed (the first coming out guide for LBGTQ+ people of faith) and her newest book Out of Focus.

As the gay daughter of a 35-year executive at Focus on the Family, one defining moment of authenticity cost her everything. Amber's experience propelled her into a world of advocating for social justice and has made Amber passionate about dissolving shame, fostering self-acceptance, and generating messages of hope, love, and inclusion so that everyone can live and thrive in the world without shame.

Joe and Amber talk about her upbringing in the Focus on the Family community, her coming out story and how that inspired her to write Out of Focus. To follow Amber on social media, learn more about her work and to order her book please visit her website here
