Description

In this episode Joe talks with Father Shannon Kearns and Brian G. Murphy of Queer Theology podcast. Brian and Father Kearns talk about their upbringing in the church, knowing that they were different from what was "normal" and how they dealt with that.

They end up talking about all kinds of things. How our experiences and lives shape the readings of Biblical texts. How we read and interpret the texts means that we have to take responsibility of those texts and the beliefs they bring. And how the work they do know helps to empower others to take control of their faith or non-faith.
