Matthew 17 provides us with a glimpse of Jesus in his kingdom glory as he is transfigured before Peter, James, and John on the mountain, revealing his true divine nature with Moses and Elijah appearing beside him.

• Moses and Elijah appear with Jesus, representing the Law and the Prophets
• Peter suggests building three shelters before God's voice declares "This is my beloved Son"
• Jesus heals a demon-possessed boy that the disciples couldn't help
• Jesus teaches about faith as small as a mustard seed moving mountains
• Jesus predicts his death and resurrection for the disciples
• Jesus miraculously provides a coin in a fish's mouth for the temple tax
