Rev. Andrea Summers, Assistant Professor of Religion at Southern Wesleyan University, and an ordained minister in the Wesleyan Church talks with us today about her journey to the academic world, work on her doctorate, and her recent trip to the southern border of the United States. Rev. Summers is known as an agent of redemptive work in a number of circles and provides our listeners with wisdom regarding spiritual development in community, viewing the marginalized from God's perspective, and being a voice for the voiceless in our own communities.
