Today we are going to see how trying to get a bus ticket while in a foreign country gave one follower of Jesus a new perspective and an unquestioned passion.
Today I get to talk with the Founder and CEO of The American Dream Center, Casey Jones. The American Dream Center is an incredible Christ centered organization that assists immigrants that are coming into the united states as they try to achieve their dreams. In doing so gospel conversations are starting and Hope is given to those going through life’s most trying moments.
Today we are going to see why we should care about immigration, how the church might be missing an incredible opportunity, and how viewing yourself as a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven will drastically impact your views on helping those coming into the US.
This is a hot button issue - that requires us to have a biblical worldview guiding our opinions.
So my hope with this episode is that we truly begin to see the immigrant the way God does and in so doing - see how we might gain a passion for ministering to those that look a little different than we do.
