"Good literature creates a kind of understanding and empathy, that when it touches your heart, it changes you. It raises consciousness. You are eager to look at all people with different eyes and understand people's stories. Our heart becomes larger. The beauty of simple things that are beyond the practical and institutionalized, provide awesome statements of love and sharing and connectedness to what's really important."
