Description

Division 1 Head Coach Greg Moore of St. Mary's College in California joins The Pitcher's Shop to discuss his program and the types of players, especially pitchers, they are looking for. Coach Moore brings over 20 years of coaching at the Division 1 college level. The SMC Gaels compete in the West Coast Conference.

 Prior to becoming a Head Coach at SMC, Moore was the head coach for 6 seasons at Cal State Northridge. Coach Moore was named by Baseball America as one of the top 10 Assistant Coaches in College Baseball during his time as the Pitching Coach and Associate Head Coach at the University of San Francisco. 

From 2014-16, Moore served as a member of the coaching staff for USA Baseball's U-18 National Team. Serving as pitching coach to the team, he has helped Team USA to gold medal victories in international competition in 2015 and 2016. Moore began his tenure with Team USA in 2014 for the Tournament of the Stars and National Team Trials before becoming the team's pitching coach in 2015. He followed this up by serving as the 2019 USA National Team Pitching Coach.
