Description

In this episode Sara Cate and Ashley create a conversation around the confined masculine(when our actions become abrasive and intense) and the wounded feminine (when emotions cannot express themselves fully). They break down the attachment of masculine and feminine being a gendered experience and focus on the properties and qualities of the spectrum of emotion (feminine) and action (masculine). They explore how these properties can become distorted and over exaggerated based on lived experiences. I.e. deep emotions(feminine) are suppressed because the action of expressing them safely (masculine) was never allowed in relationship. Sara Cate and Ashley are aware that the language of masculine and feminine can become very opposing and binary and they work to unravel it as a concept of gender, rather they explore how bringing all facets of emotion and action together can  create a whole hearted experience as an individual and in relationship.
