Shame can come from us, it can come from others who have placed it upon us, and it can come from organizations (like religion). Shame can be sneaky, and knock the wind out of your sails when you just had something really incredible happen in your life. Let’s be real, NO ONE wants to feel shame. And when we feel shame, it can be really hard to move through it.

Shame tells us that we are no longer good, that we are bad. How do you even begin to shift this? Honestly, to expect anything other than just taking one small step at a time would be unrealistic, and not sustainable. We’re not here to give you a magic formula, but we are here to relate to how bad it feels to experience shame and to encourage you to just take one tiny step. In this session, we discuss shame from a very open framework, without judgment, and with a hope that the next time you experience it you’re able to connect to the compassion you are so deserving of.
