Lisa shares her experiences of feeling conflicted about the mixed messages women receive on how they should present themselves as a lawyer and how it goes against being true to oneself.

She highlights how these expectations can lead to pressure to be average and conform to a certain idea of what a lawyer should look like.

Lisa then passionately talks about setting up a mental health department for public defenders, and emphasizes the need for active listening and emotional intelligence in the legal system to break free of stereotypes.

Her emotional connection to clients is evident as she shares stories of her responsibility towards them.
