From bill collecting and teaching, to writing some of your favorite books turned TV series, LaJill Hunt is establishing her name in the industry. She’s sharing her journey of working a 9 to 5 to becoming the pen behind many of BET’s movies and TV shows including Happy, The Final Say, and The Family Business, The Black Hamptons, working alongside Carl Weber. Her love for modern day black stories that feature black women and black love advanced her to the forefront of her dreams as a screenwriter, producer, and author extraordinaire.
