In this episode, Jess aka Galactic Rainbow aka me, joins forces with BDE and her two legendary younger siblings, James and Stella, to debrief our Esoteric Festival experience, to integrate and reflect on how the doof impacted us, highlights and challenges.
Stella and James are 18 and 21 respectively and Esoteric was their first psychedelic festival. They share what it was like to hear psy-trance for the first time, and how Stella literally had an awakening, that brought her to tears with joy when she tapped into a new way of expressing herself.
We touch on how our relationship to doofing can change over time, as we mature and evolve, touching on the role of doof guides and doof mum energy.
Other important themes come up like the stigma and misunderstanding that people have about our scene and the fear of grasping and chasing an unattainable high. Will it ever be that good again?!
My guests reflect on how my sacred raving workshop impacted the rest of the festival and I asked them the very important question, will you keep doofing?
